Different ways to help.

Everyday, news about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan break my heart. Although I have never been to Nippon land, it is where my family is from and it's very dear to me. I think most of us know about the conventional ways to help out (Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc), but there are some other fun ways that you can help!

Tonight, in NYC, Zero + Maria Cornejo ar
e holding a benefit where all proceeds with go to Doctors Without Borders. Get some signed t-shirts and Polaroids and help out a good cause!

3.1 Phillip Lim (one of my faves!) is holding a sample sale!! Give money to the Red Cross while scoring on some amazing clothes.
And last but not least, United Bamboo is also holding a sample sale for relief efforts.

Home.

One of my "favorite" pastimes is torturing myself with the apartment section on Craigslist. I can spend hours a day looking at studio apartments, imagining myself living in them, how I would decorate them...and how happy I would be without roommates....
Until then, a girl can fantasize. (And plan)

Most of these pictures come from one of my favorite home inspiration sites, Apartment Therapy.

Typical Annie Hall post

I've been on a pretty big Woody Allen/Diane Keaton kick lately. I know this is nothing new...but seriously, her style is impeccable. She makes me want to wear floppy hats everyday. I FINALLY got around to watching Annie Hall. I had it from Netflix for literally 2 years and NEVER watched it....but it's finally on instant! Here are some of my favorite scenes/outfits:

Also, I quit my job! I felt that it would be best for me to pursue something more creative and in my field...so I packed up my stuff, found someone to sublet my room, and jetted over to Seattle. I'll be here for a month and a half working on stuuuff. We'll see what's in store!

I have a shoe problem

I am one of those people that are extremely picky about my clothes. Generally, what's going through my head when I'm at a store is "this would cute if it wasn't like this" or "I would like this if it was in a different color"....etc,etc. Now I realize what my problem is: I can't expect to find the perfect article of clothing while expecting to pay less than $50 for everything. All the expensive stuff is pretty much spot on, of course. I would have to be willing to save up for those perfect key items. I started off by treating myself to these boots from Madewell:

And now I would like very much to add all these shoes to my wardrobe. Especially those black A Detacher wedges and the Rachel Comey clogs...

Dinner party at Danika's house

Real tasty spinach, avocado, and tomato salad with olive oil/tomato juice dressing
Baked macaroni and cheese with grilled veggies
Red loved it too.
Leah and Nel just hangin' out.
